Air Canada Airbus A320-211 with Toronto Raptors livery - Dragon Wings 1:200 scale model

The Airbus A320 is probably Airbus' answer to Boeing's 737. It has a similar appearance, similar range, similar passenger/freight capability, etc. These aircraft are usually used widely by airlines for domestic or regional short-medium haul routes. Airlines that require such aircraft, usually have either this one or the Boeing 737. One example right here in Malaysia - Malaysia Airlines has Boeing 737s while Air Asia has A320s.

The aircraft in the picture is the Air Canada A320-211 with the Toronto Raptors livery. The Toronto Raptors is a Canadian NBA basketball team from (where else, but) Toronto.

I ordered this from a local company in Banting, My Hobby House via their website, and it arrived yesterday. This is the box.

Air Canada is the flag carrier of Canada and they have 41 of these aircraft in their fleet. Like most airlines, they have been suffering the after effects of global financial crises, which has led to their financial situation to be a little sticky.

Nice Toronto Raptors logo on the aircraft's tail.

Nice!

Ciao!
Amir Fuad.
